REV TO HOST DEALERS AND CUSTOMERS THIS RACE WEEKEND
The REV Group-Team Penske partnership is in full swing again! Continuing its multi-year partnership with Team Penske, REV will kick off the 2017 racing season by sponsoring Team Penske’s Joey Logano in the No. 12 Ford Mustang during Saturday, March 11’s Boyd Gaming 300 of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
The 4 p.m. EST race is just the first of five Team Penske races that REV Group will sponsor this year. Following Saturday’s race, REV will sponsor two Verizon IndyCar Series races, sporting its logo on the No. 3 Team Penske Chevrolet. After that, REV will return to Watkins Glen International and Homestead-Miami Speedway for the last two XFINITY Series races on the REV racing schedule.
“We are really excited to be partnering with Team Penske again,” said Tim Sullivan, REV Group CEO and President. “Many of our products serve the racing industry in some fashion, so many motorsports enthusiasts are familiar with REV Group brands, eventhough they may not realize it. Our partnership helps REV connect with customers, dealers and suppliers, and this year we look forward to celebrating with Team Penske in Victory Lane.”
To build on last year’s success, REV Group will host approximately 60 VIP customers, dealers and suppliers at each race this season.
The race weekend in Las Vegas will kick off Friday night with special guest driver Ryan Blaney joining the REV Group and their guests for dinner. On raceday, guests will enjoy garage tours and a meet-and-greet with one of Team Penske’s crew chiefs before the 4 p.m. race. REV will watch from the infield of Turn 1 as Logano helms the REV-branded No. 12 Ford Mustang.
Last year, Logano drove the REV car during the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway and made numerous guest appearances during REV’s other races. During the 2016 season, Logano advanced to the Championship Round of the Chase in the Sprint Cup series before being beat out by Jimmie Johnson for the title. Logano won two XFINITY Series races last year. REV racing fans can watch the race on Fox Sports’ FS1.
